Anyone heard of Carbonventures?

Has anyone every heard of or tried this?

It sounds a bit dodgy, but I'm intrigued as I haven't seen any other get rich quick scams involving the environment.

It's a complete confidence trick, pure and simple, based on the fact that not a lot of people know much about the new carbon markets.

The trickster doesn't mention once, not one single time, any fact about the carbon market that might illustrate how such a "carbon consulting company" is meant to operate.

Worse than that, the bast**d has the same last name as me! A disgrace to the name. The guy's a criminal, or will be as soon as he's convicted for fraud over this scam.

ps the only real way to make money in the new carbon markets would be to trade them like any other market. At present though they have no liquidity. Perhaps in a few years when the US and EU carbon credits have real meaning, it'll pick up.
