Im having a bit of a nightmare navigating my way around MT4 and have looked in the usual places for a manual or user guide. Can anyone point the way.

While on the subject. I have 4 different time charts of cable open but would like to know if i can change all of the charts in one go and keep all of the indicators i have on the present charts.

Eg: If im following The Three Ducks and want to move through the different crosses looking for potential setups while keeping the same moving averages on the same 3 time charts for quick reference. Can this be done

Thanks in advance

Right click chart, save as template (A or anything)... Right click on next chart, select template A to open and hey presto everything from the first chart is on the next.

Cheers for the reply Wasp.

Ive done as you said but i have a daily, 4hr, 1 hr and 15 min chart on screen with set moving averages on.

Is it possible to change all charts at the same time say from gbp/usd to eur/gbp in one fowl swoop or do i have to click on each chart individually to change.

Thanks again

no, you'd have to open a new chart for the new pair then change the template for each chart, one at a time.

To add on this, if you save your template as "default" without the marks, whenever you load up a new chart, it will be automatically set to your template.

I figure that's just one less click you have to make.

you can drag and drop the currency name from the list on the left onto the chart. This way you can change the currency on the same chart with the same template.

Cheers wskanaan,

This is just what im looking for so i can quickly change over from one cross to another.

Hopefully this thread may become a usefull guide if people continue to add little gems like this one.
