Broker plus Emini Sp 500

Hi guys i want to open an account in the US to trade the mini sp 500, trouble is I am not sure of which broker to choose, i have read the GFT, AMP, interactive brokers are good. Can someone please help me out with this one. I really need help there is a lot of variaty in this topic. So please give me a hand here.

By the way Ninja trader is a good software but you have got to add market feed and more things.

Ninja Trader works with IB and Amp, both of whom provide market data. I can vouch for the Amp data, however I don't have any experience with IB's data.

A lot depends on which order entry platform you want to use. If you want a high end platform you'll pay for it either as a monthly platform fee or an additional per contract cost. If you're willing to use a broker's own (simpler) platform the cost is less. You can easily beat Interactive broker's rates, they are not very competitive on futures, you can get somebody less expensive and who will answer the phones when you need them.

I find Infinity to be OK, and they also have a special offer on the midcap contract at the moment if you fancy trying that. There are many other companies as well.

I use greenstreet discount brokers( a division of alaron) 500 dollar margins on daytrades and 5 dollars per round turn. Strategy runner is free. Ninga for a small fee.
