Hi all,

I have been accepted onto the MSc International Securities Investment and Banking at the ICMA Reading University. I am in my mid twenties and have experience in middle office with a trading firm and front office with a private equity firm both in london.

I would like to hear opinions on whether it would be better to take the MSc as a route into getting into trading as a full time career with an IB / trading firm or to look for a assistant trader role now?

Just for info the cost of the MSc is 15k and it runs for 10 months.

It is a gamble in the end.......
since if you do the MSc how much should your first salary be?!
which companies give such salaries?! Against which uni's are you competing?

Why should they hire you?!????
