Instead of everyone quitting in a frenzy of melodrama why don't we all take a second to reflect on what T2W actually is? I've heard many people tell me that "it's just a place to gossip, it's full of idiots that don't know what they're doing, professionals wouldn't waste their time on there" etc. The funny thing is that almost all of the people that have said this to me are, ironically, not making any money themselves either and if there is one character trait that is prevalent among those that don't succeed its narrow mindedness like this.

The very nature of forums is that people from all areas of life come together to talk on a subject which means the dumb questions, the argumentative types, the hecklers and the plain and simple nutcases (I got PM'd by one in particular who launched a tirade of verbal abuse at me because I told him my mentoring group was full) are going to frequent it. But there are also excellent traders and good thinkers on here.

I've learnt a huge deal from T2W about trading - things that I am continuing to apply to make me money but you have to seperate the wheat from the chaff. There are a few threads on here that are gems that we could all learn from. I'm not going to list them but they are here and some exploring will reveal them.

Who the hell do these idiots think they are ? I have had something similar to this happen to me a few times and it just shows that people think they are entitled to everything with no work and no effort. I am pleased you didn't take this too personally and that it has not put you off helping others.

This is just symptomatic of people who think the world owes them a living. Bet they're getting a rude awakening as they now embrace the glitter of the financial markets!

I'm astounded by Trader Dante's tale of abusive PM because his mentoring slots are all full. Here's a guy who freely donated enough tuition to allow anyone with half a brain cell to trade profitably. Perhaps he should offer to place their trades for them and send a regular cheque?

When it comes to effort & application of brainpower, you only get out what you put in - and sometimes you don't even get that. There's no easy way for most of us and it's one of the fundamental lessons to learn.

T2W is like the majority of trading books - mostly garbage but also gems which a make significant different. I have benefitted enormously from what are, in the final analysis, annonymous strangers. And I try to reciprocate this in any way I can to others.

I'm pleased someone noticed...as for contributing anything meaningful...I don't think so...not any more.....i'm far more selective who gets to know what these days
