I have been developing a trading method based on Astronomy and i am looking for others who are doing similar work.

Be interesting to see. I was trying to get a psychic friend to predict the FTSE movement.

I only trade the footlog 1000 depending on how many tealeafs I have left in my cup.

thats a pretty vague and all-encompassing statement.

are you using astronomy to day-trade or swing-trade?
are you using Moon phases for month-long trades?
Or Saturn and Jupiter trines for trades lasting years?
Or Mercury retrograde as reversals?
Or using the planets cutting the zodiac houses for intra-day trades?

you may be better served by indicating your particular interest first, to see if others want to reply.
and show which texts that got you into this field of using planets/stars to trade the markets, and what your experiences to date have been.

you should also use the Search facility here to get a feel of how previous threads of this type have fared in the past. :whistling

good luck on this - astronomy/ology is one of my pet subjects.

This is how I do it:

Not bad eh.

PS: One thing that needs to be remembered, is that wheat is a leading indicator for Chaff futures when the stars align in a certain fashion.

When that happens it leads by about 5 minutes.

So, before you put a trade on, you have time to get a cup of coffee, chat up a girl, or take a lavatory break.

Good stuff.

Bloody marvelous.

:D

Edit: PS: What is a chaff future you ask ?

This is a chaff future, reply I:

but when Wheat had the day of extreme volatility last week, with Limit moves up and down virtually straight after each other, did you notice that Chaff futures barely moved !
What secret knowledge do Chaff farmers have that let them keep their heads while their Wheat farming neighbours were losing theirs ?
Perhaps our astro experts can shed some light on the planetary influences on Chaff ?

Very good point that mate.

Yes, lets hope that light will be shed on that phenomenon !

An enlightened age needs enlightenment, is what we need.

One must not make the mistake of thinking that that is a one-off kinda thing.

No Sir.

Enlightenment needs constant nurturing, needs willing and kindly souls altruistically willing to donate generously of their time and energy to do their stint at holding up the torch that sheds light.

Light shedders, I eagerly await light shedding.

:D

Oui.

Absolutely !

That said, and à propos of nothing much, I am a Pisces pretty much as we are described in the book.

i dunno what i am. i'm only 14 months old and my daft daddy doesn't know what sign a January baby is !!
But if it's described in the book as being naughty, fascinated with remote controls, plugs, switches and generally making a mess, then that's my sign !!

Don't forget the part where you have romps with three sisters at the same time.

That's good stuff, that's the way it must be, that's setting a very good example, that is.

:D

I'm thinking of starting a trading system based upon the secrets of the Da Vinci code, below are my proofs

Note that Jesus is turned to his left which means that the commodities super cycle is due to continue fr a further 2000 years.

In this picture, Da Vinci is revealing the nature of physical man, and the nature of the markets; I read this as a signal that your investment can go down as well as up in value.

Not sure where to set my stop losses yet though.
