Free Money!!

It's something I have only read about but never thought it would happen to me. I've just logged into my trading account to find that I now have double the amount of money I had at the close of trading on Friday. :-0

I don't know who your broker is, but last year several clients of IB saw their account grow more than normal. It wasn't as remarkable as yours but still, eventually IB found out (as any broker will) and the amount was deducted from their account.

Much like when a bank makes a mistake, if you think it's free for you to take, expect to be slapped on the wrist. Wasn't there a case of some woman who found £25k appear in her bank account (normally it's under £1000) so she withdrew the lot... got done for theft.
