Property Traders

Hi all,

Property trading obviously falls within my general interest area and I wondered what experience the individuals have had here in trading property.

Specifically I'm not so interested in the slightly mucky market of syndicated property deals but rather more whether anyone has used any other tools (for instance spread betting or in the past trading against indices) for taking a position on the property markets.

As the UK market looks set for a cool down is anyone now looking at taking a position against falling prices?

What is you feel for adding property into an asset portfolio and the efficiency or not that that might bring?

Regulation

The Property Investment Market?

It's regulated in two ways. One as a share club and also (soon) by the FSA as a Alternative Trading Scheme.

That said I'm more interested in discussing the wider market for property investment. Really I'm keen to see what else people are doing right now.
