Coming back

I have not traded since 1987. Used to do Traded Options on the FTSE, was doing very well til my broker screwed up and cost me a fortune. Looking at getting back into the business of trading maybe spread betting! Starting out again so many things have changed, where is the best or cheapest place to get live feeds for FTSE or Dow, any good software out there now? I used to use CATS for options trading but that seems to have gone. Any help would be appreciated.

CATS, blimey haven't heard that for a while!

Have a look at IG index they offer some ftse options and dow etc and in respect of trading vehicles and prices are better then say Deal for free (cmc)

Charting is good. As for research, well the internet is a wonderful thing.

You could of course use another broker, but why bother when you can do it yourself. I actually wonder why/how brokers still exist!
