Trading in Auckland

Hi, I'm a NZ'er currently trading derivatives in London. Am just wondering whether anybody is aware of an Arcade in Auckland? Or a firm which would support independent traders?

As far as I am aware, there is nothing in Auckland, or NZ period.
I no longer live in Auckland [Whangarei] but I do travel down to Auckland on a regular basis.

The closest to what you are looking for is a FX firm in Howick, but they are a hybrid firm trying to manage FX risk for exporting firms, sell cheaper exchange rates, and some other services.

Cheers for that ducati. Do you know of any independents who trade over a good internet connection? Would it be possible to compete with London Spreaders using a Sydney Liffe gateway?

NZ has the absolute worst, slowest, pony internet connection speed in the entire developed world, and probably Africa as well.

However, there are a number of us who trade quite happily over yesterdays technology.

There I was just thinking it was mine. It can be really poor at times for sure, but still, does the job.

cheers for that. aware of the amateur internet speed in nz, but can be ok depending on what trade i would think. personally, looking to trade UK Stirs on TT- dont like my chances. what platforms do you boys use? autospreaders out of the option??
