Hello Everyone
My name is Mohamed Shalaby
I am a postgraduate student at the University of Leeds and right now I'm working on my dissertation which is focusing on behavioural economics and financial markets.
In my thesis, I’m trying to see to what extend traders and investors are aware of behavioural and psychological biases and how such behaviours affect the financial products offered to the clients. I also want to test how companies improved their risk communication process by understanding investors' behaviour and how investors perceive risk. Moreover, my research will focus on how regulations were modified during the last 10 years to deal with people's behaviour to decrease the impact of irrational decisions during economic bubbles and financial crises.
An important part of my dissertation is to conduct interviews and surveys with traders, portfolio managers, investors and experts in the financial market sector in the UK.
I would be grateful if you could dedicate 10 minutes from your time to answer the survey, which is vital for the final stage of my thesis. The only participation requirement is to have some experience at financial markets whether as an investor or a trader.
