[The purpose of this post is not to promote the room but to ask feedback about it :)]

Recently i came across a trading room that has been running for the past 2-3 years. It focuses on intraday trading in (mostly) crude oil futures.

The room is run by a trader named Carloz Diaz and the name is 'TradingMission'. The subscription runs at $300/month.

Has anyone subscribed to the room previously (or currently)? If so, it would be great if you were willing to share some feedback on the room, either here on this thread or via PM.

Many thanks in advance,
George

I have found three detailed reviews of the trading room thus far - not sure whether they are truly independent or not

https://www.tradingschools.org/trading-mission-update/

The latest reviews dates from earlier 2015 - thus, now two years out of date.
Anyways, tradingschools.org have given TradingMission 3.5 out of a possible 5 stars.

Incidentally, the tradingschools.org site (two of the above links) seems to have a fairly decent archive of reviews of trading rooms, trading mentors and trading software. Might be a good resource - shame I have not come across it earlier.

In any case, would be great to have feedback from any T2W members :)

Well, after a truly astonishing response on this thread, I will of course go ahead and subscribe to the trading room.

I guess this will be the second time I will effectively be reviewing a trading room/service with real money at risk. The other time I did related to a daily email service indicating setups by Alpesh Patel.Click here to see that T2W thread . I sincerely hope that 'TradingMission' will turn out to be a better one, or at least one that shows trading results accurately.

Watch this space. [my next update will come from a beach in Hawaii, trading from my laptop in my hammock strung between two palm trees].

Sounds like you probably don't need a trading room "crutch".
So save yourself $300 per month.
If their trades are good then why do they bother to try and sell them ?

Bump.

Have been participating in this trading room for around a month now.

  • Ideally need at least $10-$20k to trade this room - even when trading only 2 CL contracts, it's good to have a decent balance in the account. The intraday margin for 1 contract is around $3k.
  • A lot of the analysis is based on market structure - similar approach to that outlined by Voigt (text is in German) - they just use different terminology
  • Entry, trade management and exit signals are very clear
  • One needs to be on the ball and focused as things can happy very quickly
  • Runs every day from noon UK time (7am ET)
  • Execution timeframe is typically 10M or 15M
  • 1H timeframe tends to be used for judging the trend
  • It will not be possible to follow the trades with anything other than the actual futures market - as the targets can be as low as 10 ticks - thus the spread if using CFDs or spreadbets would make this a futile exercise
  • 1-2 trades per session, CL only
  • Analysis also provided for ES, NQ and Gold on regular basis

Good points:
  • Great way for learning a different trading technique (market structure)
  • On average, the room goes for 1-2 hours each day - that is a lot of teaching and demonstration
  • Carlos is very good at answering people's questions and is very patient
  • Instructions and trade signals are very clear
  • My Actual trading results achieved are quite similar to those published on their website at the end of each session

Bad points:
  • Nothing to report at this point
