The furthest back I can go on 5min bars are about 12 months. Does anyone know where I can go back through the years and see charts further back on 5min bars?

Cheers kindly :D

There are providers for this. If you looking for fx then have a look at forex tester. They provide historical data at varying qualities

So complicated for me, I think required thousand bar candlestick chart five minute chart if want to look back a years backward price , why not se monthly timeframe then look on lowest price and higher price, this more simple

Thanks for that but actually I need one for indices, DAX & DOW to be precise.

Monthly is no good for backtesting.

If market maker data is sufficient/acceptable [and you can code] you can pull the data you require from the likes of IG - see http://labs.ig.com

Sierra chart

Historical Intraday Data: Yes. At least 5 years of tick by tick data for popular futures contracts on the CME, ICE, Eurex exchanges. 180 days of historical tick by tick data for US stocks. For other symbols and for further back in time data, data is in 1 Minute units. The amount of historical data available depends upon the symbol and is at least back to 2010 so long as the symbol traded back that far in time. For some symbols there is more historical data available .
