Holzer Holzer & Fistel, LLC Announces Investigation into THQ Inc. - Yahoo! Finance

It seems some lawyers are out to get THQI. Now, I lost some money on that trade, and it was the trade that I realized, 'ooh, that's why you need a stop!' lol... Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has heard of litigation like this and how successful it is and whether they are being truthful when they say, "my firm provides its legal services on a contingency fee basis and we only are paid for our efforts if we successfully litigate the case." That quote is from an email they sent me. If all I have to do is fill out a few forms then that's great, but if I'm going to have to spend thousands of dollars in legal fees then forget it. I didn't lose *that* much money.

Sounds like you're being lined up to be scammed again. Let me guess you bought those shares off a cold caller who said they'd be worth a fortune soon.

Yea, you're exactly right. That's how I get all my stock tips through cold calls.

Does anyone have serious answer?

how did you get the email?
look if its legitimate, you could just roll with it, i mean if you lose, you dont lose anything right? if you win you win. who did you get the email from?
i mean if its no win no fee, then go ahead with it, if they ask you for money dont go for it, i have no idea how successfull the litigation could be, but that doesnt matter if its free.

how did you get the email?

I posted the article I got their email from and I emailed them asking about it and they gave me some forms to fill out. They didn't email me out of the blue, I would have deleted it as garbage immediately if that was the case. I don't really think they would post a scam article on Yahoo news. Although, they do post plenty of articles from fool.com... Their website (Holzer Holzer & Fistel - Home) seems legit and they claim they've won cases against Coca Cola and Cox Communications.

I'm just not at all familiar with these types of cases and thought maybe someone here knew something I didn't. Maybe these cases are a dime a dozen and none ever have a snowballs chance in hell of winning. I read through the fine print on the forms and it seems like they only get paid if they win, so I'm figuring what the heck? From the info they want it sounds like they're trying to determine the amount of losses suffered by investors and if that would be worthwhile to pursue. Of course, based on my losses along I think they would just look elsewhere.

The first dinosaur at T2W who admits to a loss. History is being made.

For the rest of the trading world, welcome to yet another dinosaur in the dinosaur category Mega-sore-ass.

Just forget about the past, move on to the next trade in a new unit of time as in divorce.
