Is forex trading an investment?

It's a casino where the dealer is allowed put the ball on any slot of the roulette after they have seen your bet first.
 
why dont you learn about trading first and then create the mindset from there
 
Only think that you are going to learn forex trading. Your mind will be automatically set for it.
 
First thing you have to keep in mind is that you ma not win early but definitely, so keep patience and don't be afraid of losses.

Investment in my eyes means holding sth for at least 2 months, maybe i will call this short-term investment, lol.
 
Trades or positions that go on without any major changes for at least a year can be called investing and vice versa. Anything shorter than that is speculation (in the neutral sense of the word).
 
Forex trading is an exchange program of currencies from different countries. You can exchange currencies to each other like: USD/INR, USD/EUR
