Stock Trading Robots: are they legal?

Greetings,

Could anyone please shed a light on the subject? Is selling trading robot a legal activity? I can see tons of FOREX robots for sell but cannot find a robot that works with stocks.

Then trade forex, make a ton, and use the money to hire a robot maker to build a stock robot.

Why dont ya pull up a tick chart of SIRI and then see if you have the answer.

Funny enough, this question for some reason generates the answers that are not really related to the question itself - a phenomena similar to the questioned asymmetry
