Can someone please tell me what the going rate is in india for round trip costs and monthly desk fees.

Thankyou for your help.

India is a nice place to be in and it does not cost much. You can easily get in here at low costs and survive in the most costliest cities of Mumbai (y)

A guy I was trading next to was costing a prop room up in delhi and rent was v reasonable but the cost of internet connection was v steep (for fast speed) - think equiv was £2k per month for a smallish office (for about 10 people). Cost per person wld reduce for bigger offices / more people so this could explain the variance.

Perhaps they could give you a breakdown of the costs? Its not unreasonable to ask.

There is no fixed rate for trading it vary company to company as well as trading type. First of all, you should check that both companies are regulated with any financial institution or not.

Office space in India is limited that is the reason it is more costly.

But then in outer city areas you can get for very reasonable prices.

What is more important is that the Internet connections are CHEAP to which have high speeds offered by MTNL

Well that's completely the opposite to what I was told. Offices are cheap (which you do agree to after saying they are not) and internet connection is expensive. Anyway ask them for the breakdown of costs and see exactly where they differ.
