why IG, CMC, city index and CS stay away from MT4?

All,

Why is it that the 4 major SB companies in the UK stay away from MT4 as a charting provider? It is the best, market leader for charting for so many right reasons yet they continue to come up with their own sub standard charting that is useless to the average joe trader, CMC being the biggest example with their new gen platform?

Probably defines the model for the spread betting companies as in lower end type of clients and keep it that way by adopting this business model, just think if any of the top 4 companies mentioned went over to MT4 would increase revenues instantly?

Am interested in any thoughts here, just out of curiosity?

Wow and I mean wow, was about to say first time i have posted on here for a while and get some usual crap comments but that thread about metatrader was awesome.

Not the slightest bit surprised, i think they are all up to no good, or at least were at some stage.

Never thought that might be the reason for lots of companies staying away from metatrader, guess they like to do all this themselves in house
