% wise, what's the best you've pulled off? Calm down ladies! you know where i'm coming from!

Many years ago, when I was still a student, I went to a casino in a group with some of my pals. They concentated their attention on a slot machine and poured a lot of coins into it. The beast swallowed the lot.
The bet was a shilling. Among the loose change I had in my pocket there was a shilling. I put it into the slot and pulled the handle. The beast made a lot of noise and started to churn out coins. There were so many that I took off my pullover to be able to carry them. I took this booty to the cashier who was very surprised and gave me an odd, knowing sort of smile. The prize was £50. I took his smile to be an omen.
I yanked the lot of them out of there and treated them all to dinner and drinks and the cinema the following day. That was the first time I ever had a go on a slot machine. It taught me an important lesson about taking silly risks. I have never been anywhere near another slot machine since. I have been a member of several casinos for a very long time. I never gamble in any of them, I never gamble, period. I only find them convenient when in town to have drinks and a meal and to entertain my friends and to point out the collective and inevitable folly of humanity en masse.

Kind Regards.

a pertinent quote from the late, great Kin Hubbard:

"The safe way to double your money is to fold it over once and put it in your pocket."

And every time you post in this forum. ;)

Hey, Hogwash Cohones, how's it going?

You really have absolutely no idea about wit or banter do you?

When's your scamming starting? Hurry up and get going, I could do with a laugh (your pitiful attempts at humour give me the odd chuckle here and there, but that's starting to wear thin).

Many who know me think I do. It's just my standards appear different than yours. Not necessarily better or worse, just different.

I generally don't take ad hominem attacks personally. I first consider the source.

Doesn't surprise me - people without a sense of humour are attracted to each other.

By the way Cretin, what difference does the source make? An ad hominem attack is the same in nature regardless of the person making it :LOL::LOL:.

You really are a moron.
