Im a middle aged guy from Brooklyn living in Delray beach/Boca who has spent many years swing trading equities and now transitioning to daytrading Forex and Naz futures. It is getting played out to be sitting in my apt. alone every day. No matter how much I win there is no one to share the victory with and my learning curve is slowing to a halt. I invite any of you to share your own experiences on how you feel if you had an office to trade from with a few good, humorous,sharing,caring people (no arrogant young hot heads like in most brokerage and prop firms!) to pick their brain and they yours, how would your trading life be diffferent. And if you want to get serious and form a team, I live in Florida so some of us will eventually have to move, but we can start out in a chat room. In fact the first thing is Id need a volunteer who could take care of that, another to do programming, another guy to listen to the news wires for us, etc. There is room for anyone who is humble and is a profitbale trader and wants to teach, or an unprofitable trader or newwbie that wants to learn. I also would like a private message if this board allows it telling me about yourself besides a public post here. THIS COULD BE A VERY INTERESTING THREAD FORMING REGARDLESS. Come on in and leave your comments on how trading alone affects you, and specify if you are a swing or day trader and what you like to trade.

Pakua42, why not just join a prop firm? You will get cheaper commission rates, IT support, fast connections etc plus have all the interaction you want. Dont worry about "arrogant young hot heads", ive been trading in prop firms for nearly 6 years and trust me those guys dont last long. The majority of the people are pretty humble, the best traders know success can be fleeting and are generally eager to play down their success, pride comes before a fall etc

I hired a few guys from Rumania , you can get them on Odesk or from forums.
They cost around $8k each per annum .The cost of 3 assistants for $24k a year can be recovered by profits on a $200 k account of around $400k.
They relieve me of the stress of trading and psychological issues.They just trade my discretion based systems , monitor the screen , input entries and manage the trades.
They are online with me 10 hours a day monday to friday .

this is not possible
do you understand that 99% of day traders lose ?
if you trade together with any of them you will lose because they will themselves
who will you blame then? youself? them?
i do not know a trader who wud not have lost his first deposit
may be some of them exist but this is certainly very rare breed
those traders who want to become a part of a team
must contribute something
their knowlege ideas thoughtful opinions...........exstra funds may be
and at least they have to demonstrate their skills
to be potentially interesting for the others
