should i trade today when US markets are only open 1/2 day? Will volume be too light and volatility to high. I trade DJIA futures.

There was a holiday yesterday and the FT was very active in the afternoon. I'm keeping my options open, at present. I have to go to work so, until I get there, about 40 minutes, I will have a black period. Yesterday, while travelling, I was gratified to haave made 30 points in that drop but I hesitate to push my luck twice!

lol didnt trade in the end. just watching out to see if possible to catch a reversal but will probably stay out. The light volume is spooking me

Yes, I don't watch that but it makes for a lot of volatility.
