what chat rooms do you recommend?

Hi, I am looking for a good chat room that is devoted to trading so that i can chat with people real time about my ideas. What do you recommend?
 
ahahah that is a funny and very true response i do actually know such a person...maybe I should try and chat with him lol
 
There's about the same amount as c0ck and bollox on chatroulette as there is in the average trading chat room!!(y):LOL:

As to what the spammers are up to god only knows, they kinda give themselves away by using the little t2w characters on all of their posts.

It's a 1x1 pixel of nothing. The image is supposed to be placed there by some kind of script code that doesn't appear to work with t2w. It can be either a click through or just used as a counter to see how many people load this page. That can be useful to see how often members are viewing the post even if not actually clicking on the pic.

ok, cheers for that pete, usually i see nothing, but i have seen the small dot on occasion, it's smaller than a full stop, yes? on other occasions i see the red X of fail. i did copy off the address, but had no joy there finding anything about it, puzzling.

there are more than a dozen of them now, admin don't appear in any hurry to hunt them down and remove, i stopped reporting in the end and just now abuse in thread, off topic or not! that gets results! :cheesy:

Mods/staff probably doesn't know what it is. Just looks like a pic that failed to load. Yep, plenty of them on here anymore.

Abuse is certainly more fun though (y)

if anyone's read my post reports, then they would be aware of these multiple clowns and their copy pasted off topic nonsence, i even gave them a list of nicks who were doing it and the link they were peddling via post and sig. though i didn't know the detail of what they were up to, to the depth that you've explained i have to say. maybe on reading your post they'll rethink :)

Chat rooms aren't a waste of time if you use them properly. No different than forums. Since you're not looking for signals or taking short cuts then by all means find one that you like. It's good to toss around ideas with others as long as you do your own due diligence before taking a trade on anything.

I tried one, several years ago. It was run by T2W. They are, in general, a waste of time, Peter. Most of the chatterers were just that and they should be trading, instead of chatting.
