Can someone please advise what I am doing wrong here please ....

I am trying to replicate my spreadbet settings onto Metatrader4 via Alpari using standard MACD 12,26,9 settings, howerver when i look the charts, even though i amusing the the same settings on each the MACD histogram is very different between the two.

Can anyone please let me know what I am doing wrong!

The default macd in MT4 charting is actually a histogram of the signal line of a conventional/standard macd.
\ie the standard macd - like shown on your other shart with white background has a histogram of the space between the 2 lines, and 2 lines one of which is the signal line. Do a search on ff.com to get a standard macd indicator for MT4charting to replicate the one shown on your chart with the white background - you'll find one there.
