Is it not a risk that the demographic structure of the West and Japan will strangle global growth? In a few years perspective, only India and Africa will have a sufficient population growth.

The question is whether the market's ath-sentiment is approaching a new low. Then we will have a sharp sell-off of securities in the coming years. Because who will pick up the supply?

It's about time you got banned...
Another idiot sent packing.

oh! i was enjoying his posts! never mind, we can draw solace that johnkarner is still with us, and can be further enlightened as to what a realtor/estate agent is. i hope we can look forward to further insights. i've learnt a lot from john (y)

Yes, of course!

Peter

1) Why was TADWS banned?
2) Why is TADWS un-banned?

1) hopefully because T2W bans people that post wrongonomics and political garbage. Only China and Africa have sufficient population growth to sustain economic growth? A friend of mine known only as The Solownator wants a word with these sort of people...

2) because T2W like seeing us head-desk...

Maybe just temporary though.

I was hoping this would be a good post judging by the title and replies... how disappointing. I think either his first or second statements could (maybe) stand on their own, but combined they lose all logic. *sigh*

The replies? :D I don't think that anyone understood him. I kept my mouth shut because I knew that I didn't.

I think that a global collapse is imminent because money is getting worthless. The developed countries have got themselves into a debt problem and developing countries, mainly China, are in a problem because they own trillions of dollars/Euros/GBpounds that are devaluing daily and are never going to be repaid. They'll get something out of it but not what they hoped for

The eventual answer is F*** it, lets barter trade using something else.

In layman's language I think that that is about the nub of it.

 then you can post your specific here , i think not all members here are experts !

I'm not sure what you're trying to say. My point was that he's suggesting a global collapse due to the demographics of the West and Japan and possible ensuing slow population growth... but he switches tact and says he expects a securities sell-off that will run unchecked because of a lack of demand for securities - does he maybe mean he expects there won't be enough people to buy securities? Obviously that's ridiculous lol, but if not then how else can you tie together his two statements?

The replies? :D

Sorry, I meant the number of replies before I clicked on the thread - it suggested activity :)!
