A global collapse?

Is it not a risk that the demographic structure of the West and Japan will strangle global growth? In a few years perspective, only India and Africa will have a sufficient population growth.

The question is whether the market's ath-sentiment is approaching a new low. Then we will have a sharp sell-off of securities in the coming years. Because who will pick up the supply?

africans dont make children because they like them... it is just that sex is the only entertainment on the continent and condoms dont help

You don't need an ever increasing population to grow an economy.

One must also remember that to maintain living standards a place like India would need far larger nominal GDP growth. Ideally you must look at real GDP. For instance America's higher on the surface growth to Europe over the previous decade masks the fact that it also had a higher population growth. In real terms both blocs grew at roughly the same level

Most of Africa is infected with aids and poverty related diseases.

economic growth or some other type?

your first point is just way too big to tackle here.

who will pick up the supply is the same type of people who pick it up at this time, hedge funds, banks, etc

just because the populations is becoming mostly aged people it doesn't mean there won't be any demand for assets
