How to withdraw profits from International Forex?

Hi,
I am from Bangalore, India. I had invested in International Forex and have made profits successfully. But I heard that Indians are not allowed to trade in International Forex as per RBI guidelines. Is it illegal to trade in International Forex, and please let me know if there is any better and safe way to withdraw my profits, other than withdrawing directly to bank account.
