I am asking your views as some of you on this site have gone through the educational system. I wish to know What courses would you take if you wanted to work as a Technical Analyst?
The reason for asking is I am considering studying
I am starting educationally from scratch so I am thinking of this year doing GCSE Business Studies, GCSE Economics and GCSE Mathematics.

After that I will need to do some other qualification to enable me to gain University entry to do a degree But could you suggest something that would be looked upon favourably?
Also what degree would or should I do?
I am considering doing a Bsc Honours in Investment & Financial Risk Management at City University as this has an elective module on Technical Analysis.

I am also considering doing the STA diploma & CFTe. do you rate these? is there other qualifications I should consider doing?

I am currently applying for funding for this course in London. If I get it I will do it if not hey the net is all you need for learning trading. This forum and others is enough. The only thing that courses will give you is there own version of trading rather than your own version of trading.

Just to let you know I have decided to do a BTEC level two Or Level three dpending on what the college decide for me and study a BTEC in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship the level 3 will gain me access to University where I plan on studying a Bsc Honours in Investment & Financial Risk Management.

I am still not sure what industry qualifications matter and what commodity traders tend to take but hopefully someone will post to this in the future.
Please do post if you know. Maybe I should ask everyone on here what degrees they have and where they studied it if they are from the UK?
