We know that demo accounts on Metatrader4 show on the as stating demo but how does a novice know its a live account if their account number is shown? Is their anything else when viewing video to tell us on MT4 that its a live account?

yeah, the live a/c has a kinda gold avatar and the demo is kind of green.
short of that you will notice your live account wont say demo

Another question I have is this:-

If you’re born with a condition which means you see everything that everyone else sees as Red as Green and everything everyone else sees as Green as Red – how would you ever discover it?

Put on 3d glasses while watching a 3d movie. If they don't work then your colors are reversed. :smart:

Nope. Like the way you’re thinking, but that wouldn’t do it. Apart from the fact the two lenses are normally red and cyan or blue and green, it wouldn’t make any difference. All the colour filters do is separate out the component images to give a sense of depth. The ‘real’ Red image component would still filter through the ‘real’ Red lens and you’d still get that component separated out.
 
If watching made for tv 3d movies I think the glasses are red & green? Not sure. If you wear the glasses backwards though you don't get the 3d vision which means your red and green (or whatever colors) lens need to be transposed. Give me a minute, I'm still working out your original question...

LOL. Wear them backwards? Double LOL. Must have been a good night...


Don’t get into all the TV versus Film theatre stuff. TV 3D uses shutter technology and many Film 3Ds are now using polarisation rather than pure colour differentiation. So easy to get bogged down in the various technologies.

Pete, let’s keep it simple. People who are colour blind can still watch 3D using the glasses. It’s not the colours per se that are important.
 
I don’t know if this will help but the youporn website has 3D porn you can watch.

Now, any ideas how we’d go about detecting the Red/Green anomaly this thread has decided to look at?

Or are you saying porn is the way?

I guess with enough of it the whole Red/Green thing does lose its importance given you’ve lost your sight anyway.
 
I tried watching it with the glasses from the cinema, this did not work at all. They work on a different system

I then found a pair of red/green in the bottom of my 5yr olds dressing up chest. It worked a treat but I felt really cheap.

I do not see how swapping the lenses would work as a detection method because the filter will only filter what we know as red or green. Therefore having the same effect as someone who sees green as green and red as red.
 
I think he has gone off to the youporn site, we won’t be seeing much of him around anymore.
