Was reading an article in the Torygraph over the weekend, Liam Halligan (who aint a bad read imho) wrote an article on the USA, it was the usual fayre; deficit, debt, Q.E. 3 on its way, dollar not worth toilet paper, anyway as always a few pipe up on the comments section asking "so you've told us the problem/s, what's the solution?"

Well Benny and the Inkjets surrounded by the supposed greatest economic minds on the planet aren't working it out are they? What chance us? One global currency/credit..?

As far as the US goes, I reckon the easiest thing they can do to start getting their house in order pull their soldiers out of all these countries. For that reason I feel Ron Paul is on to something, but by you referring to the torygraph I would imagine you will not be a Paul enthusiast.

US are the largest importers of Chinese goods, so it's unlikely.

yep I've watched that before, George Carlin summed it up well when implying it's (middle class wealth) the next pot of money the elite will have to thieve, we'll find an equilibrium wage structure comparable to the rest of the globe, trickle down Reagonomics eh? A nice warm pi55ed on trickle from a great height down the back of your blue collar shirt is what it is..

Americans now kicking off as gas is over $4 a gallon..LOL..try $9 like us. I reckon 7 dollars before they go postal, 2013. The USA is so fooked without cheap gas it's unture, they drive everything everywhere..Love to see them wearing electric smart cars to travel 200 miles a day, or detroit cops outrunning gangsters in them hahaha..Humans, we're just so 5hit..

Watch it all adn all good stuff. But it does stink of the excessive consumer based society wanting it all adn stretching beyond.

I think the single parent on the plane hits it on the nail for me. When she says she can't compete with two parent households. Key word is compete. Why does she feel she needs to compete. As for the little brats who want to compete well they can go and do paper rounds.
