Basic gist is meltdown should not happen, increased radioactivity due to steam venting from reactor pressure vessel (designed to contain meltdown) which is vital to maintain the stability of the reactor core.

Then again its also worth noting that scientists once thought the earth was flat :)

For the time being there is probably more chance of the DOW and NIKKEI going into meltdown...
