Hi,

If you are trading 2 lots is it possible to wipe your account completely giving a bad day or week? I heard from Andy Shearman that trading 2 lots is the safest way when investing in forex rather than 1 lots or mini or micro accounts.

Depends how much money you have in the account.

I don't know the guy but i'm sure he's an idiot.

Precisely it depends on your definition of risk and reward...not based on lots.

Andy also said if you don't place a trade there's a good chance you won't lose.

Probably talking about playing with the lots for trade management. 2 lots not much better than 1 as it still doesn't give you much flexibility. If your position is broken into between 3 and five parts you've got more to go with.
