Hi,

Can someone explain to me how can you profit in forex from a downtrending economy. To you buy when low and then when market is better sell high?

If something is trending down, a better approach might be to sell and cover at a lower price. I'm not sure, but I think that might work.

When something is trending you are better off going with the trend than against it. If the UK is in a downtrending economy and the US isnt, then you might want to sell GBPUSD, which means you will be selling GBP and buying USD.

Start a forex brokerage company, then you will be making money in both and uptrending and downtrending economy!
