Commodities vs shares vs currencies

Hi Everyone I am looking for your opinions on what investments carries the higher and lower amounts of risk we know they all carry risk but which is the safest in the long term (Not brining in to consideration the amount of leverage that is available on each derivative)

I have always thought that currencies are a safer bet because the federal reserve and government's monetary policies can keep the price at stable rates . As Opposed to shares and companies where anything can happen weather conditions can effect commodities poor management can effect companies and many other dynamics of business.

What are your view's

I did a comparisson of volatility across markets which you may find interesting. Individual stock and commodities are on the high end and short-term interest rates and currencies are at the low end.

Thanks For that Rhody Trader. So forex is a safer bet after all

Strictly on a price volatility basis, sure, but in trading practice there's no such thing as a safer market. Poor trading will kick you in the tail no matter what market you trade.
