They alereted all of their users (early this week), through the platform notices/bulletins, that the site would be down for routine maintenance at specific times yesterday evening...Now back up...

As for the company atempting to sue them I imagine all these firms have legions of disgruntled individuals and companies looking for someone to blame for their incompetence (losses).

IG Group made clear it had no direct business dealings with individual Echelon client

Markets were closed and the platform was scheduled for maintenance .
