Especially for day traders as getting your knickers in a twist is an occupational hazard.

A follower, Jay, who has been trying very hard to break down my approach is having a lot of difficulty in figuring out why I enter where I enter when trading and how I do it. His email to me emanated with negative energy and a thick overlay of disappointment.

It turned out that Jay had had a terrible day and had lost more than the range in the ES that day. This chat attempts to convey to him some of the “ethereal” aspects of trading that are hard to convey over a 140-character Twitter message.

Link - http://www.futurestrader71.com/ - it's the top video.

I listened to this over lunch. It's very rich in information, not just in the planning and exection aspects of his narrative. Even his view of the opening and what the market is trying to achieve in advertising for direction is very succinct. I knew this but would never have been able to articulate it anywhere as well.

Nice link DT.

DT I only watched this cause it's you...

And, gosh, I'm pretty happy I did... Carry on being a decent chap who knows what to bring to our attention :)

(Incidentally only watched a few minutes of it cause I'm lazy, but it seems good :))

BTW DT Andrew is not HIKING in Nepal anymore... expect some lulz... :D

What happened - couldn't find his inner self because he forgot to pack it?

Dunno why you chaps don't like rozzers, he's honestly a great chap :)

But he may have just been sucking my willy cause I'm a member of royal overseas league (due to my gentlemanliness... heck I got thrown out of carlton club which is an honour he'd suck your dick to achive) so could let him into a clubhouse on princes steet up in edinburgh... so maybe was just that... but he's a good guy, honestly :)

(ROSL btw... I am very proud of what we do... pm me if anyone here is interested in joining:))

So this local is looking to avergae 3 sp points at $250 per point per day. ?

Whats his size with one full unit ? Is that one standard sp lot (or 10 lots ) ?

:)

cheers !

nice vid, you can see the supply angles when he's talking about it trading lower ,(just before it punches a new low) I see those type of angles and it gives a fairly good indication of attempted likely continuation.

he does about 40 contracts in a full position.

OK, cheers for that, thought it must of been something a " bit "bigger . :)

aye but $2000 a point is not that meaningful without context, my limit is over $100 000 a point at work and I'm, depending on which account I trade, on a min of 80% to me split... talking about "points" is stupid.... talking about contracts actually makes more sense cause they're in sane denominations.....

the stuff about market profiling is very good. It's probably beyond most traders...except ODT maybe.

I wonder if Jay is any relation to our own JayJay from way back.

If he can consistently lose more than the daily range of any market, then I think we should find him, pay him, throw away our trading methods and just trade off his live calls.

You mean jayjay121? (banned guy, who nobody liked because of the whole grey1 saga?)
If so, it's not him.

I like the futurestrader71 vids. Would like to learn more about his methods/market profile in general, but it tends to go over my head.
