I was wondering if someone knows a free live audio or video stream that waits for the latest economic numbers to come out and shouts them out so you know immediately what the numbers are and you can make up your opinion if it will go down or up?

At this moment I watch the quotes change direction to know if they are good or bad and much later I see my RSS feed comming up with a message about the numbers, but I like to hear them much earlier.

It would be very handy while trading futures! Thanks in advance!

To get instant news, I think the only option is to pay I'm afraid.

Hmm I understand the needs of the OP, I have only been trading since like August and already know CNBC is crap for news announcements.

I quickly learnt that Im not good enough to trade the news though :) but can see the need for it for peple that do .

Just turn on bloomberg
If you are a retail trader you don't need it any faster

Actually I don't understand how you can say they are crap for news announcements. They are on top of the announcement the second it comes out. Now if you are referring to the way they talk about the announcement later, I agree they are crap.

With that said, if you try to trade a news announcement, AFTER the news is out...good luck...you will just lose money. They already know the news before you get it as a retail trader, I know that for a fact. You are better off trading without any TV or news...I just was trying to be helpful :)

Yeah I quickly found out that I need to leave a "buffer" around the news times... I guess thats the point of these real time live bloomberg/reuters, whataver the above one was, news wires that was advertised previously, learn the news as soon as the big boys do and then you can ride the wave. There certainly is great profits to be had, just a little too advanced for me!

Use Ran, squawk is delayed but the text isn't, so just keep a window open on the news feed.
