gilt 5 year and 2year futures?
Does anyone have info on a launch of gilt 2s and 5s futures products? Are they going to be launched, if so will it be liffe-connect? I've also heard that the BTP is being relaunched?????

liquidity bad enough on 10 year mate. and it would be liffe but heard nothing. alsoe heard BTP relaunch rumour

yeah, BTP was going to be Eurex not LIFFE though.

I thought both the LIFFE 2 and 5yr and BTP were confirmed though, just hashing out details?

BTP is definitely coming, Sep 14 as far as I know. Not sure about the gilts...

options hardly been a giant succes. couple of call/put flys traded on day 1 but nobody (mm's) want to be short vega.
