Hi Room,
I am new to this forum and also new to stock options. I am in learning process currently. I have read a lot about stock options and it seems promising to me in certain circumstances.
My question is :-
When I visit option chain of any indian stock of any date, I find some deep in the money call or put having no contracts at all, also with no bid and ask price ! My question is can I open a new call or put buying contract where no contract exist ! If yes, whether I can define my own price on purchase of a call or put. I am not asking about writing call here. Please note.
