Was Massa right to give way to alonso because his team told him to.

What a joke for the F1 sport. Massa deserved to take the win (n)

I agree this is very bad for the sport. This could be dealt with once and for all by disqualifying any team that does it and this may still happen.

Yeah totally!

The dude did well to get first with nice driving and skill just to have it took away from him by a bias team! (n)

F1 is NOT a sport.

It never was, never will be.

You taking the **** dude ?

These F1 drivers go through crazy training to prepare them to resist the g-force that their necks and backs withstand on the track! You got any idea what a F1 car can do ? I doubt it after that comment.

Definitions of 'sport'

sport, athletics
an active diversion requiring physical exertion and competition.

Read up and learn what is necessary to drive an F1 car at the high speed corners that they do. Don't think your car compares when you’re going round the the highway bends and roundabouts.:p

You guys know they got a $100k fine and the matter has been referred to the World council?

Massa totally deserved the win it's not his fault.

Anyway ferarri always do things like this a 100k fine is petty cash to them.

They will get away with it.

If anybody heard R4 this morning (Today programme), Eddie Jordan seemed to think that the consensus in the sport is that rule should be thrown out as it's archaic. He mentioned that F1 is a team sport so why not have team orders? Seemed like a compelling argument tbh.

Doesn't matter what "exertion" it creates... at the end of the day its still sitting on your bum in a fancy car and pressing on the pedal

In fact I found riding a horse at full gallop much more exerting than driving that fancy car in Rockingham!

F1 a sport? nah! no way...

Massa should do what Mark Webber does and fight his corner.

Ram Alonso in the next race if he has to ... it would certainly make F1 more interesting than the complete bore that it has become.

I actually find pre-race qualifying more exciting than the race itself which says something about this sham of a sport.
