I have no idea how Hurt Locker won so many awards... Average movie - even below par imo. Anybody care to tell me what it was all about?

Heard the Green Zone's supposed to be good. Yet to see that one.

A soldier becoming institutionalised by war? I thought it was great personally, war from the man on the ground's perspective.

The Firm. (2009 version)

Quality 80's footie hoolie romp.

Battlestar Galactica Re-imagined Box Set, a 73 hour marathon, but worth it.

war? to try to familiarise you with the subject as well as instill in your brain the need for it.

Alice in Wonderland - dissapointing due to Tim`s excessive usage of computerized techniques, but still better than other useless crap these days

Defusing bombs is your idea of the need for it???

its a creation of a war hero theme... typicall the recession/war preperation phase
as for me? I am only another citizen x

I totally missed the part that Jon mentioned re: being institutionalised by war and choosing to defuse bombs as opposed to family and kids but I fail to see how it was about war or the instilling in the brain bit?

I thought John Clooney's Syriana was more on the mark.
