Amir Khan vs Marco Antonio Barrera,

Has Frank Warren lost the plot? or is he relying on Freddie Roach?
Is he gambling that at 35 Barrera is on the slide and unable to repeat the Hamed lesson?
Can Khan show Barrera anything he has never fought against before?
Have they forgotten Barrera is a gladitorial warhorse with ****loads of pride and a boxing legend in his own right?
This seems like a big call and I hope Amir's talent does'nt go to waste
Anyone like to share their views?

Yes, I hope Barrera wins and dumps Khan on his ar*se.

Im with you mate. Khan is overrated and the same as moet boxing matches.
They wouldnt have put him with Barrera if he was 5 years younger but they
believe Khan now has a chance..

I don't like Khan.

He's got a big mouth and vastly over-rates himself.

He is incredibly arrogant and doesn't possess one ounce of humility.

He doesn't have the class to back up his supreme arrogance though and I am sure it won't be too long before somebody once again teaches him a lesson.

Let us pray for this rather happy outcome.

I think this is Frank's attempt to rid his fighters roster of any deadwood. He's getting tough on Kahn, as he has three newly turned pros who were world and olympic high flyers in the amateurs.
Kahn is old news now from 2004.
Giving Kahn a tough fight like this, is Warren showing Kahn tough love - to make him or break him.

He's gonna get really broken sooner or later anyway because he just does not possess the required degree of true boxing class.

Too many fighters have already posed problems for him, some of whom you would certainly not have expected to.

Willie Limond was it ?

I don't think you're far wrong there, will it last longer than the Prescott fight, would'nt be surprised if Barrera does'nt try to go for the early night and jump him from the start.
