We pay for a TV service like SKY.
We pay for BBC TV via our TV licence fee.
BBC TV have NO commercials.
Why is it that we pay so much more for SKY TV yet every 5-10 mins there are commercials. I mean how many commercials can you fit into a so called 1 hour programme.
I know is has to do with revenue, but come on. The commercials are so cheesy and for people who are at home all day watching TV.
There are just too many. I use sky+ for everthing I watch, which is less than 10 hours a week....if that. How many more commercials can they fit into an hour long programme. Actual programme time is between 30-40 mins. Most of that is because the Presenter loves him/herself so much we see them more than actual what they are filming.
Get rid of some crappy stuff like Deadliest catch, The garage, Too much of the same stuff and programmes should have a limited life span of say one year. Get rid of the prat who thinks he is a survival expert but has about 50 people around him for support, and a hotel a few miles away......Bear Grylls, Please go away.
Reality TV is NOT TV. You can't learn anything, as you only see what the Law want's you to see, and put a camera in someones face and everyone will show off and act in a way they would not normally. So its not "RealityTV" at all. Its "Start filming me and I will show off and act in ways I don't normaly...TV".
Where can you find viewing figures for all the programmes out there. I mean some must be only in the hundreds.
