Just wondering if any one can add to my list of finance related films, I'm trying to get the misses a bit more well versed in this glamorous world without buying her Hull for christmas, although considering I always get ****in Jamie Oliver maybe I should. So far I have three:

1) Wall Street
2) Rogue Trader
3) Boiler Room

Cheers in advance....

If we're talking 'finance' rather than 'trading' then 'Barbarians at the Gate'. Very good, even with the improbable cast (James Garner plays the lead). The book it's based on is worth reading too.

I even include a web link for your perusal on this one.

Ok its sports betting and ok its about sports tips hotlines and getting punter to buy the Reco's but...... Hoo haa, sterling performance from Pacino......

They are very much B'astards ala Glengarry Glen Ross , but a nice touch from Pacino going to the Gamblers Anon. meeting and leaving a card, should they have a relapse.. :)

What a B'stard,, but good biz ??

Bonzer... :p

Saw this on TV yesterday:

"The Bank"

David Wenham (Faramir from The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers) is a computer nerd who swears he's found the right combination of chaos theory and fractal geometry to allow him to predict the rise and fall of the stock market.

"Crash" ? "Crimson Rivers" ? "Apocalypse Now" ?

or is that just me seeing things through Bear tinted glasses ?

"Gone in 60 Seconds" ? for scalpers ?
