Et tu Brute

A horse, a horse my Kingdom for a horse
( Richard 111 at Battle of Bosworth )

They couldn't hit an elephant at this dist. . . .

Doing what they loved doing

Kiss me Hardy
( Nelson's last snog at Trafalgar )
I came across these last words of Marcel Proust - "I feel like a cold beer". Just goes to show where all that lost time went to

In the same article where I found that, there was another very poignant description of the last words of the cyclist Tommy Simpson who died during the Tour de France.

Of course I love you baby! You know I do! What do I have to do to prove it ?
And turn that light off

"Were not lost, I know this place like the back of my hand. Look, if it will make you happy, let's check the map. You said you had the map, yeah?"

"Put that down before you have somebody's eye out"

King Harold.

More like, "Watch out or some ****er's gonna get it in the eye!" (Also, first recorded use of the word, "****".)

"Ships like this don't sink." Captain of the Titanic

"Ships like this don't sink." Captain of the Lucitania

"Ships like this don't sink." Captain of the Herald of Free Enterprise

"Ships like this don't sink." Captain of the Belgrano

"Ships like this don't sink." Captain of the Princess of Stars ferry

"Ships like this don't sink." Captain of the Prestige oil tanker

Something for us all to learn in trading: it just goes to show that when you're complacent, ship happens.

Something closer to home:
"Just use a large stop."
