Political correctness attacks the psychology and thinking of another for their own satisfaction, even though something is said in complete innocence and ignorance of its origins.

This whole idea of being "offended" because someone else might take offence, even though you are not yourself "offended" is crazy. Yes there are words which are offensive and should not be used, but most of the time it goes way to far.

It was a pleasure to watch Life From Mars on BBC1 they tamed it down, but nice to see how it used to be in good old 1973 lol with no Political correctness, people back just got on with life, they were not as sensitive as people of today.

grantx started this thread Laptop,

“attacks the psychology and thinking of another”, and in so doing seeks to impose its own moral framework. This implies we are somehow void of morality.

Of course, there are words or attitudes which may be considered offensive but as the majority of us are familiar with social norms and graces, then for another to imply we are somewhat lacking is offensive.

As PC has no legal basis, fo is an appropriate and effective retort.
