Just had a mad urge to pop back on here and see if there was anyone I "recognised" :) A few names like Splitlink and DbPhoenix I've seen already.
In case you wondered I haven't given up trading, I''ve just been going through a "quiet" phase where I haven't really wanted to talk about it. I suspect mostly because I'm now just trading UK stocks in my SIPP and it's not very exciting!!
Anyway just wanted to say "Hi" to anyone who remembers me and I'll probably be lurking around a bit more.

He's fine, busy with the Sports Trading stuff and not trading futures much, although he keeps saying he "intends" to start soon :)

Just fine. All that craziness in '00 seems like another lifetime.
 
Oooops! didn't see this thread until after I had posted on the other one.

I'm fine Helen. I don't get on here that often now. You'll see why by some of the stuff that people post.

I'm a bit more laid back in my trading re: time frames, and for the better I may add.

Must be old age! Me too!! I suspect it's just a normal learning curve though. Thinking back to what Db said about madness in 2000, I started trading or thinking about it in 1998 so I'm sure that shaped what I thought trading was to a great extent., all those people seemingly making easy money (and to an extent they were of course!).

I still can't get on with Options though!

You'll see I've been got at for modding since you left (and making a right old fist of to judge from at least two of the threads running :cry: ). Don't fancy a job do you :cheesy:

Hey there Helen - long time no see! :)

John just mentioned you dropped by, so I thought I'd say hello too - us old timers are still here plugging away!!!

Hope you're well and trading is good. I saw FTSE Beater a few weeks back, he came down to London for the day with his partner. He's busy... practicing his golf swing! :D

Yes all well here and trading is fine, no long term effects from being stood up at the British Library!! You still owe me a coffee (or two!).

I was going to ask about Mark, I guess he's not trading then?
 
I remember seeing Helen about T2W. Hi Helen :D

Just realised that I am now in 24th place in the all-time list of T2W posters = scary stuff!! :rolleyes: :eek: :confused:considering the 69500+ members

I've been wondering where you had got to. There are a few of us working on UK shares, now. More peaceful than indices.

Hi Helen, I dont think you will remember me, not a prolific poster you see, but i certainly remember
you. used to look for your posts when i first joined T2W and still have your interview with 'clickevents'.

Hi helen.
Nice to see you pop in from time to time,I followed your posts when i first started to look at T2W and also had some charting sessions with FTSE beater at coventry about 2 years ago.Give him my regards if you see him again.I must say,I did learn a lot of stuff from others like you on this site.I am still trading stocks mostly and keep them for the long term nowadays,got my fingers burnt like most others trying to make millions over a few months etc.
