Can you add to..........

There was a young man from the City
Whose outlook on life was gritty.

He tried and tried
And gradually became more witty.

Guys, not that I'm Irish, but a limerick has five lines so your first two don't count!

There was an Old Man with a beard,
Who said, 'It is just as I feared!
Two Owls and a Hen,
Four Larks and a Wren,
Have all built their nests in my beard!'

There was a young man from the City
Whose outlook on life was so gritty.
Boldly and brashly with no stop in sight
His losses he held until they turned right.
Then came that day, oh dear, what a pity.

Limerick

There was a young man from the City
Whose outlook on life was gritty.
They asked what's the reason,
Sir, it must be the season
Otherwise, I just feel real ****ty.

That's a tough one to rhyme :cool::p

Like Haiku the beauty is in the structure,
To create poems as well formed as a sculpture,
But I've tried this way and that,
Rhyming any old cr@p,
And in the end It just gave me a rupture.

There was a young man from the City,
Whose outlook on life was quite gritty,
Each lunchtime in Browns
He'd give the strippers a frown
But they still liked to show him their titties.

(those who've worked at the Liverpool Street end of the City will know Browns ;) )

There once was a man from Bel Air
Who was doing his wife on the stair
But the banister broke
So he doubled his stroke
And finished her off in mid-air

:)

May have been called Dirty Dicks in my day.
