iPad apps, iWork numbers,Pages, keynote etc

Is that a decent combo to have something similar to word etc or is there something better? Opinions please guys, really want to get more out of iconic little beauty...

You can get msoffice for mac.

Will just download those apps for 15 see what they're like, just want to attempt to use it for more than fun stuff, assuming I can arrest it off the kids for more than an hour...

Pages on Ipad is pretty comfortable for work.

I'm sure there are a lot off options, but I prefer Apple software.

i have a macbook and an iphone and i always use the apple software. from time to time it gets a little tricky whenever someone on a pc is trying to view your document but you just have to remember to export the docs in a word format or pdf. other than that i love it.

Agree, but for me sometimes it's hard to do some stuff.
