This may seem a bit weird, but do you have any kind of special insurances for being a trader?

There is the general health insurances for if you're ill, or maybe a hospital plan, BUPA, etc.

But, is there a Critical Illness Plan (CIP) for our "job"?
Critical Illness is where you are insuring against the possibility of you not being able to do a specific role. eg, I used to have CIP if I became unable to specifically do IT Consultancy, and the payout would be a function of my income. (with premiums to match!)
Ironically, trading doesn't necessarily require mobility nor physical ability.
Just, eyes, brain and hands.

Or are these insurances a waste of time?

What back-up plan do you have if you were unable to continue being a trader due to any kind of illness?

(sorry for being sober and morbid)

EDIT: a noose or a loaded revolver doesn't count.
