Assume you are in the market to sell your property. assume interest rates don't go up by more than another 1.25%.
Please use the poll to tell us what your sentiment is for an acceptable sale value.

I accept this is very rough and ready and there are assumptions in play that may not apply in reality. However, most of us have houses and it would be nice to get any idea what our general sentiment is.

Thanks to those who have voted so far, but don't be shy ladies & gentlemen....the bailiffs won't be coming round if you give the 'wrong' answer..because there isn't one...let's have you off the fence..

Chump - there's no facility to vote for increased value.

Are you trying to talk property prices down you scallywag? I know what you're up to you know.

Damn developers get everywhere...

Hmmm..160+ views ,but only 14 voters...this looks like a question of motivation...Ok, vote now and you will receive FOC the secret to achieving undreamed of wealth......

It depends on who values it and whether you consider your own valuation to be better
If you want to sell you make it an attractive price. Sell at market :cheesy:

Hi chump

this is an interesting idea for a poll. I think it would also be very interesting to measure the opinions of the general public on this matter. Traders are a pretty select bunch, and their increased overall understanding/perspective of the market/s, may mean that results obtained would differ.

I would vote if i could, but I do not own a home!

I am not bothered whether the general market rises or falls x% as I am only interested in the relative values of my present and future houses. If I couldn't afford to move from one to the other, I wouldn't sell, unless I was willing to live in a tent for an unspecified period.

"Hmmm..160+ views ,but only 14 voters...this looks like a question of motivation"...there is of course another explanation....maybe you are all losing so much money trading you don't have a house to sell....LOL,,,OK if you all hold out long enough i might throw in the secret to immortality as well...wow you're a tough lot to negotiate with ;)

Cheers

frugi, this is all well and good provided you are in a position to cover any negative equity that you may have when you come to move, otherwise it ain't happening.

hmmm 16 votes out of 260 + views....untold wealth didn't make it happen....immortality didn't move them (although the canny will have understood that untold wealth is peanuts if you are also immortal)...there may be only one card still to play....here it is...I promise not to tell your wives and husbands that you have blown the kids education fund trading if you VOTE now.

Cheers

Please, the one person who voted to accept 30% less than it's worth for the value of their property - PM me NOW!!! {before Chump gets hold of it}

Gazumped...phone lines go down at the most inopportune moments ;)

OK..look what we got...someteen votes from a site of thousands..this is truly pathetic..without wishing to seem pushy.. merely unyielding..your vote is requested again..now if you make me have a word with Gordon about tax rates just remember you had a choice...vote now[/B]...vote or face being inpoverished.... ;)

edit..the 40%+ was my wife wherever she is ?

Cheers

Doubts have been raised about whether this is a genuine offer so for clarity here you are

This is a genuine "bolthole" with good antiquity..may have been used by royalty for securing their nag...
